VACUUM CHAMBER WITH PUMPING SYSTEM, GAS INLET SYSTEM, VACUUM GAUGES, FLANGES AND STAND

The Contracting Authority, whose main activity is to conduct research and development in the physical sciences, is the recipient of the grant from the Operational Programme Research, Development and Education The Subject Matter of the Public Contract for supplies includes a vacuum station (hereinafter “VS”) that shall comprise: • a cylindrical vacuum chamber in stainless steel with several ports • a gas inlet system; • a vacuum pumping system with appropriate hoses connections and valves; • several vacuum gauges with controllers; • several flanges; • one mechanical stand to support the chamber at the right height. Details of requirements on the design of the VS including an obligation of a winning bidder/supplier to carry out “leakage test certificate” at the time of VS delivery can be found in the technical specifications, in particular in Annex 2 Technical Specifications and Annex 4 Purchase Contract hereto.
